Over the past 15 years, Energi IQ have completed in excess of 200 Commercial EPCs for Cargiant on their 48-acre site in Willesden.
Since the introduction of the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) in April 2018 we have also been working with Cargiant on providing advice and guidance on improving the EPC ratings of their Portfolio of buildings to be compliant ‘B’ rated EPCs.
This is completed using our bespoke EPC Plus Reports service that gives considered and costed measures to improve the current EPC ratings. The reports investigates site-specific measures to improve the Current EPC ratings.
The reports initially assessed applying individual measures to improve the EPC rating. This analysis is not cumulative and each measure is based individually from the Baseline EPC rating.
Then the reports assessed cumulatively combining the individual measures in order to show the overall effect of implementing multiple measures together. Determining the optimum combination strategy requires modelling scenarios that reflects the most appropriate prioritisation criteria such as cost and EPC point improvement.
The reports also provided indicative capital costs for these measures along with estimated payback periods for implementing the improvement measures.
