Energi IQ were appointed in the delivery of 10 no. Non Domestic EPCs and EPC Plus Reports for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) for their Coast Guard Operation Centres located around the UK.

Using our bespoke EPC Plus Reports service we investigated site-specific measures to improve the Current EPC ratings of their Portfolio of buildings to be compliant ‘B’ rated EPCs.

The reports initially assessed applying individual measures to improve the EPC rating. This analysis is not cumulative and each measure is based individually from the Baseline EPC rating.

Then the reports assessed cumulatively combining the individual measures in order to show the overall effect of implementing multiple measures together. Determining the optimum combination strategy requires modelling scenarios that reflects the most appropriate prioritisation criteria such as cost and EPC point improvement. The reports also provided indicative capital costs for these measures along with estimated payback periods for implementing the improvement measures.
